Planet Urth The Fate of Urth Book 5 Planet Urth Series eBook Jennifer Martucci Christopher Martucci

Five years have passed since we destroyed Kildare. In the years since, the Urthmen threat has diminished, almost to the point of being bearable. I began to feel safe for the first time in my life, that my sister is safe, that mankind has a chance to advance, that a future exists. But I’ve learned that on this planet, nothing lasts, especially peace. And with the toll of a bell everything changes…
Avery and her friends are faced with a new enemy more lethal than anything they’ve ever encountered, danger so deadly it threatens to destroy everything they’ve worked for and everyone they love. Will humankind be doomed to extinction once and for all? Find out in this heart-pumping final installment of the Planet Urth series.
Planet Urth The Fate of Urth Book 5 Planet Urth Series eBook Jennifer Martucci Christopher Martucci
As a whole I liked the entire series but it got somewhat repetitive as the books went on. There were several specific descriptors that were used over and over and seemed to increase in the last 2 books.Another thing that bothered me was the apparent lack of editing. There were multiple typos and misspellings throughout the entire series but the last book was downright sloppy. It was almost as if the writers were in such a hurry to finish that they didn't even bother proofreading their copy.
I loved the characters, but its predictable that some of the central characters survived impossible odds (the attack on Galway).
Some situations made me question whether or not that would have been possible 200+ years after the majority of civilization was wiped out, and it wasn't explained by the authors. I am always thinking and asking questions and this book left a lot of my questions unanswered.

Planet Urth The Fate of Urth Book 5 Planet Urth Series eBook Jennifer Martucci Christopher Martucci Reviews
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the whole series. I couldn't stop reading them, and when I wasn't, I couldn't wait to get back to the fictional story.
Without giving anything away, book 5 was exciting, a real page turner. Being wrapped up in this story made the ending hard, but also very pleasing. Thank you guys for your hard work and effort, I really appreciated the books you wrote.... now onto The Remains Of Earth =)
It is the best of days, it is the worst of days! The final book is read, and I am so pleased with it. But I shall miss my friends. That's what these books and characters have become to mean to me. I don't like to tell you about the story of these 5 books. The fact that I read them and enjoyed them enough to put 5 stars on them says it all! All ages can enjoy these books. I just sent my daughter, my daughter married to my son, and a few of my friends a copy of this series. It will be their Christmas present. Say no more, read and enjoy. Escape to Urth s world.lol
Spoiler. The auther left out why or how Luc decided to join them Avery & Sully back to Cassowary. Some of the words that Avery thinks are unusual vocabulary. She sure pinches the bridge of her nose a lot. I wonder if she is really schrunching her eyebrows. A furrowed brow may be a better description. Makes me laugh every time I read the description though. I would recommend this book & look forward to the next one.
I was sorry to see this YA series end. The 5 books tell a great story that could become one possible outcome to the violence present in our world today.
The whole series is narrated by the heroine, Avery, as she survives to become a leader of what appears to be left of the human race. The new world as created by the authors is very vivid and well conceived, from the mutant forest creatures to the mutant Urthmen and beyond. Very imaginative. I do not usually buy and read an entire series all at once but I heartily suggest it in this case.
Very well written. I truly enjoyed the whole series. I can absolutely see this in the theaters on the big screen. I so appreciate the Martucci's and their story. It's inspiring. Avery was my favorite character. I read the series in record time. 3 days! I couldn't put it down. I also like that it is "youth", (not child) friendly. There was no sex. But there was love and a budding interest that grew. (Only parents could capture it the way they did without it becoming too much for the storyline. Thank you! I look forward to reading other novels by the Martucci's
I enjoyed the Planet Urth series so much. Like finishing any book or series that is so enjoyable there is some sadness, because you get so so involved in it, but this was such a perfect, wonderful ending, I felt real closure, it just felt right. Such great characters, vivid scenes, great detail and superbly written. I just really connected with the story emotionally. Dangers faced, battles fought, love and hope found in the midst of peril, tragedy and loss kept me riveted. I HIGHLY recommend this book and series. Enjoy and HAPPY READING!!!

I must say that I have become rather fond of the heroes of the series. I want more, though it's not to be. You should definitely read the books in order as each is a continuation of the overall story. You will experience more and more emotions as plot twists create questions about war and the danger of causing more harm than good. Humanity is represented by the indomitable spirit to overcome unbeatable odds. Our adaptability shines to create a world that is tolerant of those different from ourselves. There is high drama, sci-fi, horror, thrills, adventure, romance, and paranormal aspects of a dystopian world that is, at best, unpredictable.
The characters grow with each book in the series. They will stir emotions that take you from joy to abject sadness as the dangers escalate around them. This entire series would make a great television series if the editors stick to the book (do they ever?).
If you enjoy series that create worlds out of the ashes of war, you will thoroughly enjoy "The Planet Urth Series. I know, I certainly have. Don't miss this great story of triumph. KUDOS Martinis on an epic story well written.
